Provider Resources

Home & Community-Based Services providers are reminded that services should only be rendered if the billing provider has enrolled for the correct specialty. The system was updated to enforce this policy which resulted in claim denials. To confirm or update the provider specialty, contact the provider services call center.

Health First Colorado Enrollment for Ordering, Prescribing and Referring (OPR) & Attending Providers: Providers are reminded that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires physicians and other eligible practitioners to enroll in Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program). This applies to all ordering, prescribing and referring (OPR) providers, as well as rendering and attending providers. All National Provider Identifiers (NPIs) listed on a claim must be enrolled with Health First Colorado.
