The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant digital accessibility standards. Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days, and to propose a solution within 10 business days. In some cases, and depending on the nature and complexity of the accessibility remediation/accommodation work to be performed, that timeline may increase.

Measures to Support Accessibility

HCPF takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of its websites, digital documents and applications:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
  • Appoint a Digital Accessibility Unit to continually improve our level of compliance.
  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
