State Supported Living Services Program

The State Supported Living Services (State SLS) program is designed to provide supports to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to remain independent in their community. This program often supports those who can live independently with limited supports and are not eligible for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver programs. This program also includes pre-enrollment supports for those enrolling into HCBS waiver programs.  The funding for this program is limited based on the annual funding available from the Colorado General Assembly.

Who Qualifies?

To be eligible for the State SLS waiver you must:

  • Be a Colorado resident
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a determination of an intellectual or developmental disability as defined by the State of Colorado
  • Do not have access to the same services through an HCBS waiver
