ARPA Individual and Provider Training Grants Available
The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) is offering short-term grant American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to incentivize and expand training opportunities for the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) workforce (providers and individual direct care workers) with the goal of increasing recruitment and retention.

Purpose
To work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and move forward strategies to support the recruitment and retention of Colorado's direct care workforce. This group intends to meet quarterly on the second Wednesday of the month.

Action groups are intended to reinforce the Direct Care Worker Collaborative purpose and vision.
These groups will be tasked with: identifying the problem, determining solutions, and developing and executing an action plan.
