Program Overview and Summary
The Eligibility Quality Assurance (EQA) program launched in January 2021. EQA monitors the accuracy of eligibility determinations for Medical Assistance through monthly case reviews. These reviews evaluate the eligibility site’s compliance with State and Federal eligibility regulations, policies, and guidance.
