Password Reset Process for Delegates

Account Administrators are responsible for creating delegate accounts and do not have the ability to reset a delegate’s password.  

Provider Web Portal registration is a required step for account administrators and may be completed on behalf of providers who have an approved enrollment application. The delegate is responsible for setting their initial password and for resetting their own password. 

Note: The Provider Services Call Center is not able to reset any passwords for account administrators or delegates.

Forgotten Password

If a delegate has forgotten their password, the delegate may utilize the “Forgot Password?” on the Provider Web Portal to reset their password. The delegate will need to have the following information:

  1. User ID
  2. Answer to one (1) challenge question that will be presented:
    • Once answered successfully, a temporary password will be sent to the email address on file for their Portal account
    • If answered unsuccessfully or they no longer have access to that email, the account administrator must create a new delegate account for them
