Purpose
The purpose of the Complementary and Integrative Health (formerly Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Advisory Committee) is to collaborate with the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing as it reviews elements of the Complementary and Integrative Health waiver and CIH Services specifically acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage therapy.

Legislation and Resources
- Senate Bill 25-226 was recommended by the Joint Budget Committee and passed by the state legislature which renewed the HCBS-CIH Waiver and extended the CIH Services through September 30, 2030.
- Senate Bill (SB) 21-038 was run by external stakeholders which expanded the eligible population for the waiver, and also expanded the waiver statewide.
- Senate Bill (SB) 19-197 was run by external stakeholders which renewed the Home and Community Based Services Spinal Cord Injury Waiver through 2025 and extended the Independent Evaluation of Complementary and Integrative Health Services through 2025.
- Senate Bill (SB) 15-011 was run by external stakeholders which renewed the Home and Community Based Services Spinal Cord Injury Waiver through 2020.
