The OPC was launched by the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing in November 2022. It is available to all eligibility sites and is designed to assist with ongoing backlog processing of medical assistance applications, renewals and changes that result from unexpected events as well as the end of the public health emergency.
The Department's vision is to create a system for processing the backlog and overflow that meets eligibility regulatory guidelines and member needs.
