Purpose
The purpose of this stakeholder workgroup is to engage providers, members, and all other stakeholders as the Department works to implement EVV for required services offered through both the State Plan and HCBS Waivers.
Stakeholder Engagement
The Department values and openly encourages stakeholder engagement for the successful implementation of the EVV program, and currently offers multiple opportunities for stakeholders to participate. This page serves as a platform to engage members, providers, and other stakeholders on all operations that are occurring related to EVV.
The Department recognizes there are multiple services and service delivery options that are impacted by the implementation of EVV. Therefore, the Department is committed to collaborating with stakeholders as their input is not only essential but vital in the successful implementation and operationalization of EVV for home and community based services offered through both the State Plan and HCBS Waivers.
The EVV General Stakeholder meeting has a standing date, time, and location:

EVV Listening Sessions
Purpose: EVV Listening Sessions are informal opportunities for stakeholders to bring questions to the Department about your EVV implementation. No new policy or technical processes will be announced in these Listening Sessions. New information will be discussed in the Quarterly EVV Stakeholder meeting and published on this page. Email EVV@state.co.us to have a calendar invitation sent for this ongoing session.
The EVV Listening Sessions will be held monthly on the first Thursday of the month from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Subcommittees
CDASS EVV Compliance Protocol Subcommittee - Concluded
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to gather stakeholder feedback to help guide Consumer Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) Compliance Protocol including EVV compliance at the member level, notification requirements, and process to address non-compliance.
This subcommittee has completed their work and is no longer actively meeting.
Member and Caregiver Subcommittee - Concluded
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to engage members, caregivers, and other stakeholders as the Department works to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for community-based services offered through both the State Plan and HCBS Waivers. Agenda recommendations from stakeholders are welcomed and encouraged.
Training and Communications Subcommittee - Concluded
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to identify issues with current communication strategies and develop solutions to help provide information regarding the implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to community members. In addition, this subcommittee will help develop strategies for the effective ongoing training of community members for the EVV system.
Privacy Subcommittee - Concluded
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to identify issues related to privacy with the implementation of an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system and to provide the Department with reasonable recommendations to ensure the privacy of Medicaid members within the parameters of section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act.
System Subcommittee - Concluded
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to discuss business rules that will inform the configuration of the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to meet the needs of community stakeholders within the parameters established by section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act. This subcommittee was previously named System Design Subcommittee - the name was changed to clarify focus of subcommittee goals.
