Medicaid Buy-in Enterprise Support Board
The Medicaid Buy-in Enterprise Support Board was created by Senate Bill (SB) 25-228 to operate within the Colorado Healthcare Affordability and Sustainability Enterprise (CHASE) for the purpose of supporting the CHASE Board with the implementation of the Medicaid Buy-in Programs. The Support Board will support the CHASE Board by consulting with the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF) and the Medical Services Board (MSB) on the amount of the premiums for and other components of the Medicaid Buy-in Programs on behalf of the CHASE.
Our Members
In accordance with SB25-228, the Medicaid Buy-in Enterprise Support Board will be made up of five (5) members as follows:
- One (1) member who is a representative of persons with disabilities, who is living with a disability;
- Two (2) members who are representatives of a disability rights organization or a disabled persons consumer advocacy organization;
- One (1) member who is a representative of the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF); and
- One (1) member who is a representative of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE).
Each member will be appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. Members do not receive compensation for their service but will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties. Member will serve for a maximum of four (4) years per term, and any vacancies will be filled for the remainder of the term by the Governor.
