Providers are also responsible for searching the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) and the System for Award Management (SAM) on a monthly basis to determine if any new or existing employees or contractors have been excluded from participating in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other Federal health care program.
